Lately I have been reading a lot of novels from Jodi Picoult. I have found that I enjoy her stories very much and now consider her to be a favorite author. There are several reasons why I enjoy her work so much.
First, Jodi’s stories are usually about overcoming some type of difficulty in life and coming out on top in the end. They end on a positive note, which leaves me feeling inspired and happy, instead of sad.
Second, Jodi does her homework! She has researched topics that she writes about, such as genetic engineering, domestic violence, and law. This adds a realistic feel to her novels.
Finally, her books are easy to read. They are not written in a complicated language. I spend enough time reading complex literature for my research, so I prefer to read something “easy” at night.
